RAMMSTEIN – KEINE LUST (HQ)

“Keine Lust” (No Desire) is a song by the German band Rammstein. It was released as a fourth & final single from the album “Reise, Reise” on 28 February 2005 in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland as a maxi-single, a limited edition digipak single, a 7″ vinyl single, a 12″ Vinyl single, and as a two-track. The title is a German phrase which might be translated as “No Desire”, although the phrase as used in the lyrics “Ich habe keine Lust” is more like the English “I do not feel like” or “I do not want to”. But translates perfectly to “I have no desire to”. In the “Keine Lust” video, filmed in January 2005 and finally presented only a month later, the band is morbidly obese. The film appears to be a reunion with visibly aged band members and instruments that are clearly old and dusty. Out of all of the band members only keyboardist Flake appeared not to have gained any weight (because “anything he doesn’t want to do, he doesn’t do”, which includes eating). He arrives in a motorized wheelchair, just in time to play the keyboard part. At the end of the video, the rest of the band leaves, abandoning Flake who has managed to stand during the song and now cannot sit back down. The video was up for a nomination for the MTV European Music Awards in November 2005.

Mobility Scooters – How Good Are They ?

Posted: September 1st, 2010 | Author: | Filed under: Disability Aids | Tags: , , , | No Comments »

Mobility scooters have made the lives of those who are physically handicapped easier and more convenient. A mobility scooter is like a wheelchair, but with a motor attached. A scooter usually has a basket attached that allows a person to go shopping or just carry added extras that they might need.

A mobility scooter has many advantages, but the scooters of today also have limitations that many people do not realize. However, if a person does their homework before purchasing one of the many power chairs available, then the advantages can far outweigh the disadvantages.

The advantages of mobility scooters may heavily outweigh the disadvantages for those who are physically challenged. One of the main advantages of the scooters is that, for some people, if they lack the stamina in order to maintain the wheelchairs manual maneuvers, then this problem is solved. Another positive for the scooters is one that many would not even think to consider.

The foot rests of a manual wheelchair are sometimes very difficult to manage. However, with a scooter a person can swivel the seat and easily get out. One of the best things about a scooter is that many insurance carriers will cover them, whereas they will not cover powered wheelchairs. This is another reason why people invest in scooters as opposed to an electric wheelchair.

Limitations of mobility scooters are plentiful, even for those who may think otherwise. If a person wants to travel around town in a scooter, then they should think of their path and how high the curbs are. Scooters sit very low to the ground and many times they are not able to navigate around certain areas of city streets.

Other limitations include the make of the chair and the ability to move the scooter in small places, such as nursing home rooms. With so much useful information available on the internet, a person should have no problem in deciding if a scooter is right for them.

Mobility scooters are great for those who may not be able to get around easily. Power scooters have both advantages and disadvantages. A person who needs a scooter should really pay attention to what they are purchasing if they want to invest in something that will last forever.

A handicapped person should feel good about the choices that they have available to them in today’s society. No longer does a person have to feel cut off from the world.

Folding Power Wheelchair For Comfort In Mobility

You’ve seen them parking in a handicapped space, then unloading their vehicle wheelchair lift from their vans. These vehicle wheelchair lifts are a simple and easy way to load and unload wheelchair bound people into and out of the car.

These vertical wheelchair lifts help the person get to a higher level than they’re currently on. Just like a forklift lifts crates to a higher level, the vertical wheelchair lift works the same way. The lift has a platform that the person rolls their wheelchair onto. Then, with the push of a button or the flip of a lever.

You can often go to the dealership where you bought you vehicle to have them install the vehicle wheelchair lift for you. If your van or vehicle isn’t that new, you should still be able to go to a dealer of that particular type of vehicle to get one installed. If those fail, there are many companies that deal with vehicle wheelchair lifts and they ought to know someone who can install it for you if they don’t do it themselves.

The reason you should go to a dealership, however, is that they’re more likely to know how to work on your type of car because when you get a vehicle wheelchair lift put in, you are essentially modifying your car.

Aluminium hand rims moulded with contours are the main features of the folding power wheelchair which improves its strength and durability. The tires are solid, the upholstery is normally vinyl and the carbon steel frame is chrome-plated. This makes it durable and easy for maintenance. If you can propel with your feet, the wheelchair is provided with the adjustable hemi-height.

The vertical wheelchair lift can also be used outside of the home. Lifts can be installed in vans to make it very easy for the person to get in and out of that vehicle. They can be installed in cars and there are even portable lifts that can be used in cars that won’t require the modification of the vehicle’s body.

Portable lifts are convenient and cheaper. The only bad thing is that you won’t have it readily available all the time, which could be bad if it occurred during an emergency situation when time was extremely important and you needed to get the wheelchair bound person into the vehicle quickly.

Additionally, when a person is confined to a wheelchair they may have their own vehicle that is fitted with a ramp for quick and easy access. However, if they are traveling in a vehicle that is not equipped, a portable wheelchair ramp can be used. In addition to adapting them to a different means of transportation, they can usually be easily used for access to many other facilities not so equipped.

Debbie Normski has been working with wheelchairs for 12 years and you can visit her site at Used Wheel chairs which include information on used wheelchair ramps for sale.
