Ally is learning to drive her loaner power chair. She mostly goes in circles, but is starting to change directions (which I had a hard time capturing on film). She is 3 years and 4 months old and has Type 1 Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). We are in the process of ordering her own chair ; )
What a difference just a few days makes! This video shows Kaden on just his fourth outing with his wheel chair and WOW, what amazing progress! He can now control the chair enough to stop, put it in reverse to get the angle he wants and go straight! Remember, it was only 4 sessions ago that he first used this thing!
