Mary “Jackie” Stanton has her motorized wheelchair back, thanks to some diligent police work and a few people residents who passed along information to them. “I was surprised — I thought it was gone, that someone would try to sell it or put it up for sale online,” Stanton, 56, said Sunday. Stanton’s Rascal Powerchair, which was stolen on Wednesday from a sidewalk at Beach Avenue and F Street, was recovered Friday in a nearby house after an investigation by police police Detective Ronald Sweeney. John Sanchez, 35, who lives at 711 Nantasket Ave., near Stanton, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property valued at more than $250. The wheelchair, which cost Stanton $3200 three years ago, was found in the basement of the house where Sanchez lives, police said.
