Read the full Rip Off Report here: www.ripoffreport.com The video shows how the mesh metal on the lift bends under the weight of my electric chair. after only a few tries, the metal is already permanently warped. daily use and driving over bumps with the chair mounted to the car will cause severe stress on the lift and the chair’s wheels will easily punch through the mesh. this is dangerous. it could ruin the chair, damage the car or cause an accident. this TT07 C electric lift is not strong enough to hold my 298lb chair. it needs to be reinforced or exchanged for a narrower model that may be stronger. narrower model would give more support to the mesh metal, though even that might need additional cross bar supports welded underneath the mesh. this is probably good for a regular chair but mine is a heavy duty power chair. this TT07C is rated for 400lbs but i don’t think the mesh can handle that and would easily break.

It is model number 130 and is in excellent condition. The scooter is highly maneuverable and moves indoors or outdoors. It goes on grass or pavement, carpet or tile and through standard doorways. You can see from the pictures, it has many accessories including 2 baskets, one front and one rear. It has a rear view mirror and a front headlight. It also has rear running lights. The arm rests go up and down and the seat swivels for easy entry and exit. For storage, the seat and the handle bars fold down. Its precision controls feature a speed dial that can be set for slow or fast and the handle speed controls work smoothly on both handles. This scooter even has a horn. The tires are foam filled and are flat proof. The batteries need replacing as they have lost their ability to hold a charge because of non use. It takes two batteries and they can be purchased online for $69 to $79. This scooter is very well built and plenty sturdy for average size people up to and even over 200 pounds. It is small enough so that it can be put in the back of a mini van without a trailer or lift. It is heavy and would require 2 people to lift it. This is a great buy at $495. An electric wheelchair is a chair powered by a motor. It is also called a power wheelchair. These motorized wheelchairs are ideal for people who need to use a wheelchair all the time. The average price of an electric wheelchair is about $3000. Some power wheelchairs are made for indoor use only and using them outdoors is rather dangerous.
Things to look at when buying an electric wheelchair
When buying an electric wheelchair, there are a lot of things to consider. You have to find a chair that fits your needs. Some of the features you should look at when purchasing a wheelchair are its weight, whether it is designed for indoor or outdoor use, its weight capacity, the power source etc.
To get an idea you can take a look at the electric wheelchair reviews posted below. These chairs are designed by lead wheelchair manufacturers.
Invacare Pronto M-50, M-51, M-71 series
These electric wheelchair models are small and easy to use especially indoors. They are recommended for indoor and limited outdoor use. The fact that they are small (38″ x 25″) and have a mid-wheel drive makes them easy to manipulate indoors, whereas the wider casters and the SureStep suspensions allow them to pass small obstacles.
All three models have a maximum speed of 3 mph, which is low for very active persons, but enough for home and nursing use. The seat is 17″ or 18″ deep. For the first two models, a semi-reclining seat is optional, while for the last one it is standard. The weight capacity also varies between the three electric wheelchair models. The M-50 and M-51 have a maximum weight limit of 300 lbs, while the M-71 has a limit of 250 lbs.
Jazzy 1103 Ultra with NP Controller
This electric wheelchair is designed both for indoor and outdoor use. It can be use by someone between 5’0″ and 5’10″ high. Like the Invacare electric wheelchair models listed above, it also has a mid-wheel drive. The Jazzy 1103 Ultra with NP Controller has a maximum speed of 4 mph. It has a power elevating swivel seat and an 18 inch turning radius. This electric wheelchair weighs 71 pounds and has a maximum weight limit of 300 lbs.
Other electric wheelchair manufacturers are Permobil, Redman Power Chair, Pride, Quickie, Falcon etc.
Electric wheel chairs have been out for a while now helping people get where they want and need to go, but when buying one you should take the time to research and test it before you buy. The thirty minutes of research might save you a couple hundred to a couple thousand dollars.
